Why You Should Care
Sure, it's easy to say biodiversity is a problem. But the world is full of issues, what makes biodiversity important? Biodiversity is directly linked to all aspects of our lives. For example, a poor environment has been shown to have a negative Psychological Impact on a human being, let alone other animals.
If you live in a concrete jungle and don’t consider the benefits of a natural environment to impact you on a daily basis then consider the Economic Costs that a deteriorated environment would present. All food based companies would fall apart, textiles would not survive, on and on.

Money and mind not enough? Think about the deterioration of the food companies. That is going to have Health Impacts. A lack of biodiversity could mean the loss of precious nutrient humans need to survive. It could also present an opportunity for a disease to grow in a place where its survival would once been impossible.
